Mukesh Bhambhani opens the shop
Sellers opened on Sardar Patel Road in 1997, on one conviction: a man should be able to dress well for every part of his life in one place, and be measured properly while he is at it. The address hasn't changed since.

Have it made and you get a pattern drawn from your measurements and kept on file — suits, jackets, shirts, trousers and Indian ethnic wear, cut and finished here, two or three fittings as standard. The cloth comes from the world's great mills.

Van Heusen, Arrow, Louis Philippe, Raymond, Allen Solly, Park Avenue, Pepe Jeans, Levi's, Jockey and more, alongside ladies wear, kids wear and nightwear. Most customers use both sides of the shop, often in the same visit.

Anything off the rail goes to the same tailors who cut the bespoke, usually back within the week. No other multi-brand store in Chennai can say that, and it is the reason people keep coming back.

Nearly thirty years on, we are still on Sardar Patel Road in Adyar, Monday to Saturday. Four and a half stars on Google, and families who have been coming to us for three generations.
We only want to hear one word when a customer slips into something we made — perfect.
Fussy about the things you can't see.
No two people are shaped the same, which is the whole reason this job exists. Our tailors hand-cut and machine-sew shirts, trousers and suits for people who have got tired of nearly-fitting.
Nothing here happens by accident. We argue about buttons, collar stands and cuff depths, and we redo work that isn't right rather than hand it over and hope.
Perfect is the only word we're listening for when you put it on. Everyone who walks in gets the same standard.
