Good clothes can't be hurried, so we don't pretend otherwise. Every garment gets the time it needs, and you get the honest date at your first visit.
Give us an hour and we'll do it properly.
A first visit runs sixty to ninety minutes — enough to go through cloth, settle the details and be measured without anyone watching the clock. Tea appears at some point.

A quiet, comfortable space to be measured and advised in, away from the shop floor.
Somebody who asks first
We want to know your work, your week and what you already wear before we point you at any cloth.
Details settled up front
Buttons, pockets, lining, collar — decided together, so nothing gets guessed at later.
Your call on construction
Half or fully canvassed, and full hand-stitching if you want it and the calendar allows.
The conversation
We ask what it's for, where you'll wear it and what you already own, then steer you on cloth and cut. No rush, no obligation. Almost every garment that turns out well started with a clear answer to that first question.
Measurements & pattern
We measure you carefully and draw your pattern from those numbers rather than adjusting a stock block. That drawing is why the jacket sits on your shoulders and nobody else's, and it stays on file for everything you order afterwards.
Cutting & making
The cloth is marked and cut by hand, machine-sewn where a machine is stronger and hand-finished where a hand is better — collar, cuffs, buttonholes. Most of this work is meant to go unnoticed. You feel it rather than see it.
Fittings
Two fittings as standard, three if your fit needs it. We chalk the corrections on you rather than guessing at the bench, and keep going until the balance, length and line are right. Nothing leaves here on the assumption that it'll be fine.
Collection
You take it home pressed, and we keep your pattern. Next time is far simpler — the hard part is done and the fit is already yours. Bring it back whenever it needs adjusting; that's part of the deal, not an extra.
