Women’s ready-made clothing has a fit problem that the industry has never really solved: garments are graded to a notional average figure that very few women actually match. The result is that most women accept a compromise. Having a tailoring workshop on the premises means you do not have to.
What we stock
Formal blouses, shirts and workwear for the office; kurtis and everyday ethnic pieces; casual tops and knitwear; and occasion wear for functions and family events. We carry womenswear from Allen Solly and Pepe Jeans alongside our own selection.
Fabrics are chosen with Chennai in mind — cottons, linens, light blends and viscose rather than anything that traps heat.
Fit adjustments, done here
Bust, waist and shoulder adjustments, hem shortening, sleeve length and taper — all done in-house by the same tailors who cut our bespoke. For women’s tailored pieces in particular, a well-executed waist adjustment transforms a garment that fitted approximately into one that fits.
We also make women’s bespoke — blazers, trousers, shirts and occasion wear cut to an individual pattern — for customers who want something specific or who have simply stopped finding the fit they need on a rail.
