What we stock
We carry Arrow formal shirts across whites, blues and the classic stripes, alongside their formal trousers and the smarter end of their casual range. The wrinkle-free and breathable lines are stocked most heavily — they suit Chennai better than anything with a high synthetic content and a stiff finish.

Fit notes — what to expect
Arrow tends to cut a little cleaner through the body than the more generous Indian labels, with a slightly longer body length. The slim fit is closer to a true slim; if you carry any weight through the middle, the regular fit with a waist alteration is the better route.
Sleeve length is where most men go wrong with a ready-made dress shirt. The cuff should sit at the base of the thumb with the arm relaxed. If it does not, we will shorten it — it is a fifteen-minute job and it changes how the whole shirt reads.
Altered in-house, by our own tailors
Every garment bought at Sellers can be altered in-house before you take it home. We keep a full bespoke workshop on the premises — the same master tailors who cut our made-to-measure suits will shorten a sleeve, take in a waist, taper a leg or adjust a shoulder. Most alterations are done the same week; simple hemming is often done while you wait.
This is the practical difference between buying a shirt at Sellers and buying the same shirt anywhere else in Chennai. A ready-made garment is cut for an average body. Yours is not average. The alteration is what closes that gap, and it is included in the way we work rather than treated as an afterthought.
